This letterbox was placed by Check Six and Bandaid. Extreme letterboxing (by aircraft) provided us with a wonderful “excuse” to fly somewhere! It is available to anyone flying into Block Island Airport. To obtain it, simply ask the Fixed Base Operator for the letterbox!
For those of you that arrived on the Island by boat… you may still catch this letterbox by bicycling, driving or walking up to the airport and asking for it at the main desk for the airfield… the FBO… Fixed Base Operator (aircraft optional!).
Be sure to take the clues for the other letterboxes on Island! (There are at least 6 of them at the time of this posting!).
