Status of Mini-box: Retired due to changes in park, box is gone.
The "Dale" mini-box is located in downtown Houston, near the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Hilton of Americas. His partner, "Chip" is way over in Arkansas.
Directions:
Park in lot near the Hilton, in front of the convention center, and find the statue of George Brown.
To the Mini-box:
From the statue, cross the street (going away from the Conv. Center) to the continuing park. Take the left path to the far corner of the park (near intersection of Lamar and LaBranch). Find the 2 rock benches near this corner. Sit on the bench near hedge, on the hedge end. Mini-box is in the hedge, about bench high and 1 foot in (in branches). Be sure to put back in the bush so that can not be seen and stays put off the ground.
