The state fossil was determined to be the "Saurophaganax maxiums" in the year 2000.
We chose Copan Dam as the resting place for this letterbox.
The dam is located on state highway 10 between the town of Copan and Bowring (there's one for you to look up!).
On the east end of the dam, turn down the road below the dam, and park in the area by the two brown outhouses. 75 paces west of the round "johnette" is a "tin horn" that is 2 feet in diameter. Stand over the tin horn facing the water. Look under the ripraff at your right hand to find the fossil.

Happy Questing!
