***RETIRED***

Location: Hocking Hills State Forest
Bring: pen or pencil and stamp pad
Difficulty: not hard to find but the trail is rugged, rocky and you will feel it. The view is WORTH it!!!
Time: This will take you longer than many letterboxes. I'm guessing an hour if you stop and look at all.
One pace = two steps

Locate and park in the small gravel parking lot designated for the rockclimbing and rappelling area. To find this, locate Conkles Hollow which is on Big Pine Road and very near the intersection of Big Pine Road and St. Rt. 374. The gravel parking lot you are looking for is .7 miles northeast of the Conkles Hollow parking lot and it is on the north side of the road.

Clues
*Begin at the registration kiosk in the parking lot.
*Cross the street and cross the footbridge.
*Turn left immediately after the bridge.
*Cross two small streams of water, one right after another.
*See first sign that says "Do Not Tie Horse to Fence".
*Follow trail after it bends to the right with a super big dead stump on the inside of the turn.
*Follow trail on hairpin turn to the left now with split rail fence along trail.
*Follow trail on hairpin turn to the right with split rail fence still there.
*Follow trail to the next hairpin turn to the left, but where split rail fence stops on the right side curve, see the last fence post and a place to break out and explore the rock formations!!!
*From this fence post go 10 paces at 130* to a tree right beside the rock formation. Poppin' Fresh is hiding in between the tree and the rock under some rocks and pine needles.

This little guy feels like the Indians must have when they discovered this area. Please be descrete and be sure to go both to the right along the rock walls and to the left for a venture through a "Northwest Passage".

(Note: if you get to a SECOND sign that says "Do Not Tie Horse to Fence" go BACK along trail 16 paces and you will find that post.)
