From I-35 take the Tonkawa exit (highway 60). Take highway 60 East to highway 77 South of Ponca City. (This is also 14th street in Ponca). Take 14th St north three stop lights. The Pioneer woman statue and Museum should on the corner Northeast of you. Turn left on Lake road and head east until you reach Kaw Lake.

You will pass by a water park and a small tavern/eating establishment then pass by "McFadden Cove Day Use Area". Continue across the dam.

Box #1 Tuffy
Just over the damn, turn left at the sign to the Sandy Beach. The letterbox is just past the entrance gate, under the "Swimming Beach" sign, between the 2 big rocks at the base of the sign.

Box #2 Tuffy, Close-Up
Go back to the road, and continue in the same direction you were going. Not far you will see a sign on the right that indicates you should turn left toward Osage Cove Day Use Area, 2 miles. This is Osage Cove Road. After about 2 miles, turn left again on Osage Cove Park Road. Park in front of the bathrooms. Facing the bathroom doors, look to the right across the road. You will see a barely noticable unmarked entrance to a trail, bordered with big rocks on each side. The letterbox is on the left side as you enter the trail, behind and under the biggest rock that is on it's end, covered with a smaller rock, that will need to be rolled back. The sign says there is a fee for this area, but there is no gate to go through, and it will only take you a moment to find this letterbox. So, if you don't plan to stay and enjoy the area, you won't need to pay the fee.

Box #3 Tuffy, Even Closer-Up
Driving back toward where you originally turned on the Park Road, on the left you will see a parking area and a sign pointing to Eagle View Trail. Follow the trail about 1/2 mile, straight through the woods. You will come to a 4 foot by 4 foot grey metal lid. It's hard to miss. The letterbox is hidden directly behind the metal lid, covered with leaf debris and a big tree branch.
