First you need to find lost lake.
I could tell you where but where's the fun in that.
Once you find the lake(day use fee)explore around they have lots to offer (camping in tent/rv/cabins, boat rentals,hiking trails,huckleberry's, they even have a waterfall down the creek you can jump off of into water, or catch crawdad's,or go fishing) pick up a trail map at the store if you wish. Once you are at the store walk towards the boat docks in front of you there you will see the trail that takes you around the lake 3.2 miles but it surely does not feel that long. Take a right so you will walk counter-clockwise around the lake. You will cross over a bridge and walk through the picnic area. Keep going. Walk till you find the first bench on the trail to take a break (technicly it is the second bench but the first is off the trail and hard to see if you find this one remark on the view of Mt. Hood, ain't it a bute) once you find the bench on the trail, sit and look strait across the trail to an old stump/log starting to rot, at the base you shall see a hole covered by a rock, behind it will reveal the prize. Try to hide it the best you can since this is a high traffic area and we don't want any child to stumble upon it. I would recomend continuing on the trail it's pretty easy and has some beautiful suroundings. I hope you enjoy this area as I do. It's great!b
