Mt Random and I planted this box on a spur-of-the-moment vacation/adventure in New Hampshire. The trail we used is off of the Old Toll Road entrance off Route 124 in Jaffrey.

Take your favorite trail to the summit, but descend on the White Arrow Trail. A little ways before the trail meets the Old Toll Road notice the back of a sign which is nailed to a tree on the right. Upon passing this tree you can see that the sign reads "White Arrow Trail" and points back up where you just came. Continue your descent and notice a smaller trail on the right. This is the Fairy Spring Trail; turn onto it. Soon you'll pass a rock cairn and following that a small series of rocks on the left. From the largest of these rocks take a reading of 80ยบ and sight another pile of rocks about 11 steps away. The box is in the space between two of these rocks, under some sticks.

The stamp can be a bit tempermental - careful not to over-ink and be sure to apply even pressure when stamping. We carved on-site and had rather limited resources ;-)
Hope you enjoyed the hunt and the views!
