************** BOX LOST **********
GONE March 2005
**********************************
Difficulty: Extremely easy, if there is no mud/water

This box is part of my "Montgomery Trace Series". The Montgomery Trace is another name for Hwy 149 that winds from Pinehurst to Anderson.

To get to this box you must be come from Hwy 149 or FM 1488.

If traveling south on Hwy 149, turn east on Fm1488
If traveling north on Hwy 149, take the Spur 149 (stop and get the Marlboro Man Letterbox at that intersection) then proceed down the 1 mile long Spur 149 to where it meets FM 1488

The box is very near the intersection of Spur 149 and FM 1488.

From that intersection you can see a billboard for a Western Waer store that includes a life-size yellow horse on top of the sign. The letterbox is there, so you will have to park on the shoulder of the road. You will have to cross the ditch, so if its dry, no big deal, if its wet, big deal.

The billboard is fenced in a little square area, so I don't think it'll ever get mowed (hopefully). On the right edge of the square, behind the corner post, in the tall grass, is the letterbox. I am in search of container to allow hiding it in the fence.
