This is an easy level letterbox with some scrambled words in the directions. Unscramble the words in parenthesis. For an extra treat do this letterbox in mid to late July and pick fresh raspberries along the way.
Begin the search for this letterbox at the Tarrytown Lakes. Drive to the (likap trogn) of the Garden Club at the corner of Sunnyside Ave. and Neperan Rd. Walk a little more than 3/4 of a mile on the paved path to the "island in the sun." There is an opening onto the lake where you can see the island. Stop at the first opening where there is no bench. Turn right and walk into the woods. Follow the (lar foc klow) straight up. At the end of the (lar foc klow) walk about 20 steps straight up the hill. There are two tall trees with a hollow bottom. The fun and games letterbox is hidden in the farthest tree.
