In Spokane to find the drive along the river, turn at Avista off of Mission, drive past the dam and the climbing rocks. Continue past the swimming hole, Boulder Beach and park in the parking lot just past it to the south.

Along this portion of the Cenntintial Trail is where 3 little bugs met one hot sunny day to look for new homes. Knowing the river is nice and cool they found the 16 mile marker and headed west. Buzzing happily along they passed the swimming hole.

Flying along the path the " Fluttering Butterfly" was getting tired so she found a pine with a boulder to the west of it, right next to the path. When she looked to the road ther was a nest of rocks. The perfect place for a home.

The "Buzzing Bumblebee was so hot he wanted some place on the river side. But not to close because he didn't want to be washed away this winter. he found the orange cable route post. the pile of sticks, pine needles and pine cones to the west looked like his perfect home.

The" Dancing Dragonfly" was the only one left and he continued down the past the brown poles. To the south he found arotting stump. To the east was a pine tree and a log, lodged between them became his perfect home.

The "Dancing Dragonfly" has decided to find a new home and has departed to a place unknown.

There are only 2 bugs left.
