Series of 3 boxes
Difficulty of trail: Easy (stroller friendly)

Peck farm is one of those hidden treasures in Geneva. It has beautiful gardens, a butterfly exhibit and a historic house with a hands on museum great for kids.

Box #1 (report of water damage -will repair soon-you should still be able to use stamp on your own pad)

Park in the parking lot and walk towards the house. You will come to a garden area and the butterfly exhibit. You may see some butterflies in the garden, but don't miss the exhibit where hundreds of butterflies flutter and may occasionally land on you. Exit the butterfly house at the back of the exhibit. You will see a storage outbuilding at the south end of the garden area. While facing the building go to the right corner closest to the garden. You will see a bunch of rocks on the ground. Your treasure is under the edge of the building hidden by the rocks. Please be discreet and cover the box well before you leave.

**It is a really exposed area, and we don't want non-letter boxers to find it.

Box #2 Status: MISSING due to change in landscaping

Now that you have experienced the butterflies, take a walk toward the silo for a great view. You can see the next hiding place from the top viewing deck of the silo. Walk past the silo and down the cement steps. Follow the grass path. You will come to a fork and walk away from the water. Follow the path and take the trail to the left just before you get to a large tree. This trail will lead you to an old picnic area usually reserved for groups. Go into this area and look for John Peck's "handprints." Under his prints under the crumbly wall you will find the box. Look for a large flat rock and smaller rocks behind it. the box is well hidden behind these rocks. Have fun

**Be sure to hide well when you leave, because lots of kids eat at this shelter.

Box #3 Status: **ACTIVE**

John Peck cannot rest until all his crop is gone. He forgot some grain on the farm and needs your help in retrieving it. Go to the spot where farmers store their grain. As you enter this prehistoric spot, watch out for the sabertooth tiger. You will approach and pass an Indian Village. You have no time to for a feast because the peaceful sheep farmer is waiting for your visit. As you say good-bye, you will climb your way up in order to get a real bird's eye view. When you have no where to go but down, you will find your treasure. Count 6 steps. The spiral staircase will meet a brown steel beam. Reach right and under the lip of the beam and you will find the rest of John's crop. Have fun!
