Pulled 17 MAR 2005 because the tree this box was hidden in is marked to be removed by the City of Houston due to tornado damage. The box will be relocated in the same park or nearby soon!

My first placed box!!! Candlelight Park is a small neighborhood park just north of Loop 610 in Houston, TX. Big trees, picnic tables, a playground, and a softball field are nestled in a quiet neighborhood developed in the 1950's.

Directions: Candlelight Park is located at Oak Forest and Candlelight in Houston, TX. Park in the parking lot on the south side of the park near the building. Take the sidewalk on the northeast corner of the parking lot toward the building. Turn left at the water fountains and go past the bicycle rack. Continue on this paved path until you must turn either left or right. Look 45 degrees to your right and spot a tree with a large hole near its base on the left side. Your goal is this tree. Look on the side opposite the big hole, and you will see a small hole near the base. The microbox is located in this hole, covered by pine needles. Please be discreet, as this is visible from the street. Replace the microbox as you found it, and cover it with pine needles to hide it from direct view.
