This letterbox is a great one for beginners. It is placed in Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge.
To get to the park:
Take M-43(Saginaw Hwy.) into Grand Ledge. As M-43 banks, turn Northeast onto Jefferson at the yellow flashing light. Jefferson will turn East. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile. The park is on the North side of Jefferson.
To get to the Find:
Take the main road of the park all the way to the back. Follow the narrow road back to the water treatment plant, dam, fish ladder area. This is the best spot to park. It is also a great place to just check the area out! The is a very nice wooden map posted in front of the Nature Center of all the different trails. Find the Blue "Wildflower Trail"--this is where the Find is. On the Wildflower Trail you will cross 2 bridges over a stream. The upstream bridge hides the Find. Focus your search to the bridge on the Western bank.
Please let us know about the condition of the Find.
