**11/17/12 Checked on this box and it is alive and well, just a little lonely.

Have you ever seen bagels growing wild? I never had before, but I can assure you I saw them recently. If you would like to see them also just follow the clues below.

Directions:
Go to Wolf Rock in Mansfield, CT. It is on Crane Hill Road. There is parking for a few cars across the street from the trailhead.

Clues:

Start up the trail and continue along until you come to the top of Wolf Rock. Once you are there look around for the many wild black bagels growing here and there.
Stand with your back touching the large round rock(taller than most people). In front of you will be a many truncked tree at 20 degrees. At 40 degrees is one of those wild black bagels slightly down the rock. You need to go 6 paces to this one.
Once there, keep the "bagel" and large rock in line and move forward ~30 steps. You will come to a mossy rock. NEXT to this rock you will find a very low rock that has an overhang. Look under the overhang, and under another small rock, to find the origins of the Wild Black Bagel. PLEASE re-hide this well as it is a very popular look out/ hang out spot.

We hope you enjoyed the hunt.
