Using borrowed text from Silvereagle:

The city of Goliad contains many sites significant in the history of Mexico and Texas. In Goliad State Park, where this box is hidden, is the Mission Nuestra Senora del Espiritu Santo de Zuniga, the first large cattle ranch in Texas. Other Goliad Historic Sites include: the Fannin Memorial Monument, marking the burial site of Fannin and his men; Presidio La Bahia, site of the "Goliad Massacre" of Colonel Fannin and his men during the Texas Revolution; and the birthplace of General Zaragoza, the Mexican general that defeated the French at the Battle Of Puebla on May 5, 1862 (Cinco de Mayo). While here, look for Baby Bear's Remember Goliad letterbox. Just 9 miles east of town is the Fannin Battleground State Historic Site where Fannin and his men were captured.

Directions:
Goliad is located about 150 miles southwest of Houston on Hwy. 59. From Goliad go south on Hwy. 183 for .5 mile to the entrance of Goliad State Park on the right. The other sites are just another .5 mile south on Hwy. 183.

Clues:
Park at the mission/museum parking lot on the left near the pay booth in Goliad State Park. Walk to the Visitor Center and pay the fee ($2.00 per adult), then walk to the Mission and take some time to enjoy it. When you are ready to look for the box, walk northwest across the Mission grounds about 50 yards to the back gate, which will exit through the stone wall to the nature trail. Follow the loop trail to the right you can find marker post #11. Stand next to marker 11 and imagine if you were a letterbox, where would you be!

Hint: You dont have to cross the bridge. Please re-cover/rehide well when done. The park is aware of the box and helps me maintain it so let them (and me) know when you find it.
