This box was reported missing July 2006, but not confirmed by me, seek at your own risk.

"A little birdie told me" Status: Reported alive and well June 2005! If you find this box, please email me, I love to hear reports from everyone! This is a moderate hike, up hill most of the way with steep switch backs coming back down. But don't let this scare you, my 3 year old did it with me in about an hour! It's a very pretty hike. A little birdie told me there were things to see at Wake Robin! Follow me he said, up to the house and beyond the loo! He dove at the foxglove, and chased the butterflies, a little dip in the road, a small creek, then he went up, up, up the hill, warning me not to take any side trails! Around a corner he landed on an old oak tree for a rest, then up, up, up some more, until there was no more road to travel! He dove off to the right, very hard, into what appeared to be the brush, but surprise, there was a trail! Up, up, up we went, as he flew higher and higher it seemed. He stopped for a spell, and pointed out that someone had carved initials into a tree to the left. RL it says……… 55 paces from here, on your right, he tucked himself at the base of a tree. He rests there today just waiting for your visit! Keep a watchful eye for poison oak, although none was right in this spot, it does reside nearby! You are halfway through this trail by now, you may turn back, or, why not continue forward and see the rest there is to see! When you come to a big meadow opening, turn right down the "better" trail, it will lead you back down to the road you came in on.
