Whitewater Memorial State Park is located near IN 44 and 101. The gate entrance is on 101 south of Liberty, IN. Obtain a park map at the entrance gate and information center. Follow signs to the Family Cabins.
From the area where children can swing and slide, make your way to the cabin numbered with the result that you get when you multiply 1 x 2 x 7. From there, cross the small footbridge with the flowers and continue southeast on the paved path. You will see "12" painted on the path. Step off the path and walk behing the other family cabins on the grassy path heading east. Shortly you will come to the first intersection with another (unpaved) trail at 180 degrees. Follow this trail through a small wooded area, and emerge in an open field ringed with more family cabins. Head for the stairs and go down. At the base, look behind the number of the step you get when you divide a dozen by three. There you will find the letterbox - a small square rubbermaid container.
