DIRECTIONS: This box is in beautiful Riverside Park. There is a zoo, disc golf course, rose garden, river access, 27 hole golf course, sand volleyball courts, ball parks, and a duck pond.
From Houston: Take Business 59 into Victoria. Then take a right onto 87 North. This is also Main Street. Go up a few blocks and take a left on Red River. This leads straight to the park.
From Cuero: 87 South. Take a right on Mockingbird Lane, followed by an immediate left onto Vine St. The main park entrance will be on your right at the first stop sign.

CLUES:
First you must find the Moai statue. He's a long way from his home on Easter Island and a little lost, so you'll have to look for him. Drive around the park a little and you'l find him (he likes to watch old men in plaid pants). Being 12 feet high makes him kind of hard to miss.

Once you've found him, stand back to back with him and you'll see a cement picnic table. Go to the table and take the sidewalk you'll find, going further away from the Moai. When the sidewalk ends, look both ways and cross the street. Walk straight ahead to the big fat pecan tree. Take a compass reading of about 105 degrees. Follow this heading to the back corner of the horse stables/arena. From here you should be able to see a little palm tree along the backside of the stables... go to it. There will also be a rotting tree stump, duck down and go under the mass of vines and tree branches to the left of the stump. One piece of tin is rusted. At the base you will find a rock and some wood. Beneath these lies treasure.

The Riverside Duck Pond Letterbox can be found North of the Moai.
