NOV 2009 - I got a report that the Mardis Gras Casino has been remodeled and the phone is no longer there.

The 1991 29 Cent Numismatics stamp was chosen for this microbox to represent the thousands, dare I say millions, of coins clinking their way into the nearby one-armed bandits of this Colorado casino. Catch the Casino Transportation Inc. bus on the backside of Dilliards at Buckingham Square, Aurora CO (or Heritage Square, Golden CO) and ride in comfort up the twisted route through the Rocky Mountains to this casino. Disembark at the first stop and after winning enough points to pay back your bus fare ride the glass elevator to the third floor for dining on authentic creole food--before you lose all your money.

No matter your status at the tables or slots, you’ll come away a winner when you locate this microbox in the phone-book shelf of this payphone: 303.582.9984 next to the rest rooms. But before you dial – which is a last resort clue that could land you in trouble – think that someone could be watching. Rather use this clue to confirm you are standing at the correct phone before reaching for the microbox (attached with Velcro to the inside top of the shelf at about center). Be very very discreet. In fact the rest room is right there, slip in and take a seat to stamp in. Deposit a few coins before returning to its Velcro strip, or at least act like you are making a phone call. Bail is not part of this casino tour.

If you are driving to the casinos follow this virtual tour to land your real microbox:

http://www.(1) was originally intended as a fictional South Seas adventure story, an idea Melville claimed was inspired by the many attacks upon the veracity of Typee and Omoo. As the story progressed, however, he began to slide increasingly into satire and metaphysical speculation, eventually displacing his customary first-person narrator in favor of three external characters representing philosophical, narrative, and poetic voices, with a fourth to mediate between them. The resulting book revealed the first blossoming of the intellectual growth and spiritual searching that would shape Melville's later works, but it sold poorly and most readers were annoyed by its confused construction and continual "rhapsodising".

http://www.(1)(2) is defined as “generally recognized as safe: a status label assigned by the FDA to a listing of substances not known to be hazardous to health and thus approved for use in foods.”

http://www. (1)(2)(3) is bohrium

http://www.(1)(2)(3).com

It is a microbox – please bring your own ink pad or pens (grey or silver will be best).

Please let me know if you are the First to Find (certificate) or if the box is damaged or vaporized. I would also be interested in knowing if you went by bus or took the virtual tour to find your way.
