San Buenaventura Mission is the 9th mission in the chain of 21 Spanish missions in California established in 1782.
Open M-F 10-5, Sat 9-5, Sun 10-4
Entry Fee $1 for adults and 50 cents for children
This is a stroll, flat with some stairs in the Mission Museum
Go to San Buenaventura Mission on Main Street in Ventura.
Enter the courtyard from the museum
Walk Straight West from the museum to the chapel
Turn Right and Walk North along the East side of the chapel
Continue to walk as the path curves to the East (your right) as you walk under the trumet tree.
Notice the black fence/handrail on your right with the bushes growing on the other side of it?
Stop when you get to the NW corner of the courtyard.
The box is in the bushes about ankle high inside the handrail/fence.
Please be sure it is not visible when you rehide it.
