April 2014. This box has been temporarily pulled so I can get a new logbook made for it. If you are coming up before I get it replaced, shoot me a message and maybe we can work out a little meet and greet so you can get it.

This is an easy easy EASY walk. I will not even call it a hike. I would call it a perfect "Are we there yet?...Are we there yet? Moooommmm, Daddddddd! I have to pee!" break for the kids and the car crazed adults. I would recommend some bug spray though - we got swarmed planting the boxes!

Take highway 40 to its intersection with highway 125, just west of Granby. Turn into the DOW Wildlife Viewing Area at Windy Gap.

Walk along the east side of the parking area and start along the trail leading east-ish from the end of the parking area.
Continue east along the trail to the farthest viewing area...

Stop to peek at the striped chorus frog and then follow the curve of the rock wall and pass through the space between two bushes. Take five steps to a lone bush. Under the bush on the left hand side under a pile of rocks is where you will find your box! Please be sure to hide the box well and make sure that it is covered as this is a very well traveled area.

You can actually see the strangest bird himself here during the summer months, which I think is crazy cool!

Email me with the condition of my box at AljanSundance@gmail.com

Thanks! Aljan
