ARCHIVED UNTIL SPRING. MISSING STAMPS BEING RECARVED.
Seven Days of the Week
Wednesday – Mending Day --MISSING
Thursday – Cleaning Day --MISSING,
Cohasset
This park is leashed dog friendly. Each of my boxes can be retrieved in under an hour round trip, depending on where you park. I suggest you spend a day (or two) exploring this park. The camping is AWESOME!
Go to Wompatuck State Park and pick up a trail map. Hike to NS9. Look west from the sign. 16 paces away you will see a downed Hemlock Tree at a 45 degree angle from the ground. ‘pointing’ south towards Burbank Boulder. (Burbank Boulder is labeled at the wrong spot on the map) Under the roots of the hemlock you will find WEDNESDAY.
Hike to E16. Head east on Beechwood Street to the reservoir. At the water’s edge is a trail heading north. Follow it to the old stone foundation. East of the large boulder you just passed is a smaller boulder. Hidden under the side near the water hides THURSDAY.
Please rehide well and make the area look undisturbed. If you could email me with the condition of the boxes I would appreciate it.
If you liked my "Seven Days of the Week" series then check out my "Twelve Months of the Year" series in Bristol and Newport Counties Rhode Island. They are short hikes in dog friendly parks.
