Note: this was originally created and placed by Iron Bear and Pandora. If you've ever found a box by them you'll understand why I was so taken with it. It's the largest, most intricate stamp I've found and a fun puzzle to solve so I was very sad to hear it went missing. With their permission I am attempting to recarve the stamp from my impression, as best I can, so that other letterboxers can have the pleasure of finding this box.
Happy Hunting!

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would.”

So if you were to plant a letterbox where would it be?

It should be somewhere quite curious.

But somewhere could be anywhere could it not?

Well if it where anywhere, then it would definitely be somewhere. So yes it could be anywhere and somewhere both at the same time.

But would you put it somewhere specific?

Oh I dare say, if I were to be planting a letterbox, it would be somewhere quite specific, for putting it somewhere unspecific would make it very easy to find now wouldn’t it? And if it wasn’t that easy to find, then not very many people could find it now could they?

Did you plant a letterbox?

Well this morning when I woke up I thought myself to have planted a letterbox. But then I feel asleep beside a tree with red paint on it and from there I don’t quite remember a thing.

Where did you plant it?

Well I can’t quite remember.

But you did plant it.

I did?

Did what?

Oh but I thought you just said… oh never mind.

Now this is very curious where could I have possibly planted a letterbox?

Well it’s over that way.

What is?

The letterbox.

What Letterbox?

The one you planted.

I planted a letterbox?

What letterbox?

Is it by a tree?

it isn’t.

But there are many trees.

There are.

Is in outside the park?

It is.

Is it right near the exit?

It isn’t

Is it on top of a rock?

It is.

Is it under a rock?

It isn’t

I shall look for it then! What a wonderful ideal!

But shouldn’t you find the rabbit first?

What rabbit?

The White Rabbit.

Is it in the same place as the rabbit?

Is what?

The letterbox.

What letterbox?

The one I hid.

You hid a letterbox?

Oh this is nonsense. Where did the white rabbit go?

In the hole of course.

Where is the hole?

At the exit – or the entrance, depending on which way you entered.

So it’s either at the entrance or exit here?

It isn’t

Then where is it?

Why here of course.

So the letterbox and the rabbit hole are here, both of them, at the entrance or the exit, depending on how you enter.

They are.

Then I shall find them.

Do you remember the way?

I think I should understand that better if I had it written down: but I can't quite follow it as you say it.'

Then you should have taken notes.

But where do I begin?

At the beginning of course.

And where exactly would the beginning be?

Right here where you are.

And where exactly am I?

Well if you don’t know that by now you haven’t been paying much attention at all.
