4 mile hike round trip
Open Memorial Day to Columbus Day

Travel to the former home to David E. Corbin and Chester H. Thordarson.

Box #1
Go around the back of the building filled with the work of Halldor Einarson. Survey the area for the Native American Rock. Walk through the archway in the direction the Native American is facing. Follow the stone wall. From the end of the stone wall, take 35 paces. Turn to your left. Find the group of four birch trees along another stone wall. Locate the letterbox in the rocks at the base of these trees.

Box #2
Have a ball on Havamal. When you get close to the water, turn left to find an old water relic. After exploring a bit, retrace your steps to a faint trail on your left between a rock and a maple that leads in the direction of the water. Find yourself standing in a grassy area surrounded by several old apple trees. Take a bearing of 70° to the strong roots of a leaning tree next to a dead birch.

Box #3 Replanted 7/3/05
After returning to the main trail, hike northward to the former residence of David E. Corbin, take a tour then return to the trail heading south and uphill. From the begining of the trail, walk 630 paces. On your right, next to the trail, is a rock. Remove the small rock on the far side and find the box underneath the large rock.
