Clues to discover the church that is the starting point for the clues to the letterbox.

1. From the earliest days, this church has symbolized a continuous Jesuit presence in San Francisco.
2. With two towers of over two hundred feet, it is visible from many areas of San Francisco.
3. The current church building was dedicated on August 2, 1914.
4. DON the right apparel for the weather and study the clues as if you were at a UNIVERSITY.

Clues from the church to the letterbox.

1. Face the church at its southwest corner. Look up, and you will see one of the two towers. To your left and across the street, you will see a mother holding a baby.
2. Walk along the street with the church on your right (the west side of the church).
3. When you reach six pawns, turn right (east) and walk along under the trees, coming up to a lawn. You will pass the Patron of the City of San Francisco.
4. Continue walking toward the three flag poles with the lawn on your left. The reverend on the right will not face you.
5. Continue past the three flag poles, a directory, and five more pawns. Walk 35 more paces past the last pawn.
6. Turn left and go up the stairs.
7. Turn towards the phoenix and go up another set of stairs between the light poles.
8. Turn left at the top of the stairs and walk with a building on your right (the west side of the building).
9. Continue down two sets of stairs. Then, proceed along the walkway between the ivy. A small parking lot will be on your right. You are close to the letterbox.
10. Find the cement bench to the right of the path. Sit down on the bench and scoot all the way to the right. Look to the right. You will see Golden Gate. Your prize is directly across from you in the ivy under the tallest bush.

Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box,
They tumble blindly as they make their way Across the Universe.
