Note: Bring a stamp pad Begin at Goddard St. and Meadowbrook Rd, parking on Meadowbrook. It can be a little busy crossing Goddard, so yew be careful. Walk thru the wrought iron gate where they are refurbishing this entance, so please excuse the appearance. Take in the community gardens but please heed the disclaimer. Hopefully, things will be in bloom, enjoy... we'll meet up with yew at the first bench on the path. Sitting on this bench, there should be a snaking trail to a minature foot bridge on yewr left. A more vehicle capable bridge is on yewr right. This pond has rather large Koi deposited from local Brookliners whose backyard fountains became too small for these fish. see if yew can find them. We'll meet on the other side of the pond where a middle bench allows for a view of the fountain. Resting on this bench, notice the Panteon-inspired, Romanesque gazebo to the left... pretty cool, huh? Standing with the fountain at yewr back, walk up the hill towards the "field of dreams", where a pair of barbeques is split by a picnic bench. Cross over the road and continue on, stopping on the "mound". On the rubber, walk 67 paces towards a large Sugar maple. There, a paved path should be. Take the paved one without the stairs. Walk until yew come to a steep dirt trail on yewr left at about 92 paces. Take it up. Pass thru the raspberry bushes and stand at the edge of the grassy lawn. Bear left towards the curving wall, walking 72 paces to the"flight of six". Don't take them! Rather, continue under the pergola to a "flight of four going up". Take these. Walk 66 paces towards a group of four cedars ans a lone Japanese maple. Take "filght 6" going down, pass over the broken bridge and on the right, there yew will find the prize. Enjoy logging in on top of a wall near-by but be sure to return it hidden entirely, for the grounds crew usually does a thorough job at cleaning up.
