This box is in one of the two large connected parks in the North Bronx.

Start at the Northern end of Vault Hill.

From the bridge that goes over the highway, you will go up the steepest path to the top of Vault Hill. Count the wooden planks on your way up. At the twelfth, turn left, off trail. There will be a large rock face there. Walk around the rock face, keeping it to your right. When you are on the East-most side, walk East about 20 steps to a line of smallish boulders. Four steps East should be a large tree with a hole in it. Walk around the tree and, at the base, covered by some sticks, is your prize.

Please note: last word was that the box and stamp were still there, but the log book was destroyed by water damage. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone would drop a few sheets of paper in or something, so that there can be some sort of log in. Thanks in advance.
