Difficulty: Easy Time: 60 - 90 minutes Harry Potter has faced many horrors. No horror was more terrible than the night in the Forbidden Forest when Voldemort drank the blood of the Unicorn. Everyone thought the Unicorn was dead – everyone but Hagrid. The giant’s love of animals is well known. He put all his skill (and a little of Professor Dumbledore’s) into saving the Unicorn. Slowly, the Unicorn recovered. But it would never again feel safe in the Forbidden Forest. So it was arranged that the Unicorn would be flown across the sea to a home in the magical land of… Pennsylvania. Near where PA73 sneaks under the Pennsylvania Turnpike lies Fort Washington State Park. Inside this seemingly sedate State Park hides a magical forest – with a dark secret. The Unicorn was placed in a box and borne aloft by Hagrid’s magic motorcycle. A wooden landing pad had been prepared for his arrival and named “HawkWatch” for the benefit of curious Muggles. After landing at HawkWatch, the Unicorn, was hidden in a place of power where it could recover completely and live in peace. The Park has many magicks to guard the Unicorn. Only the brave and the pure of heart will be permitted to see this magical creature. Go boldly, brave Letterboxer! Heed well these clues: From HawkWatch follow the Black Tar toward the Setting Sun. Pass the body of fallen Ents with his caged children at his feet. Go 2.4 furlongs from HawkWatch to Aerie 17. The Birds are watching. From here, head Southwest to the 18th Hole. South down the hill is the House of Comfort. Take your ease here before returning to the trail. From the North Corner of the House of Comfort, take 39 Steps East to the Raptor Cave. Enter quietly. Tread lightly. Watch for Gnomes! A trail enters the clearing to the East. Find it. Head South on the trail. Here you walk the border between the Magical Land and the Holey Ground. Behold! The Links to Heaven lie to your Left. The good and noble land on your Right. Strange Power flows through the air above you. Watch for the spike that marks where the Blood of the Dinosaurs flows beneath you. Be on the lookout for BlackJack. When you see it your goal is nigh. STOP when you are between 22 and the House of Power. GO 23 at 30 to the Tree of the Four Pillars. Shhh. The Unicorn rests inside. Thank you for replacing everything in good order.
