Clues:

pandora and members of "GoogleD" have planted and replanted two letterboxes in a very special place on highway 1 between two beaches, one of which you might know as the "clam capitol" and the other named for a nice blue monster on Sesame St. In this very special grove, you will find creatures that have shed their cocoons and dared to be who they were meant to be.

When you find the grove enter and follow the path. You should see an area meant for an audience. Stand in front of the semi-circle and look off to the east (toward the railroad track): you will see a traffic sign. Note the number. Write it down.

Head west approximately the traffic sign number minus 10 paces. Look to your right . You should see a yellow sign that talks about state park property. Go to it. Take that traffic sign number and double it. Now take the result and separate the digits then add them together. Now subtract the result from the one you just separated. Got the final sum? Take that many single paces at a heading the square of the traffic sign number degrees from the yellow sign, you will see a tree that looks like a butterfly with wings spreading east. Go to that tree.

Box 1

Stand between the wings of the tree. At a heading of 6.5 times the traffic sign number, go approximately the traffic sign number of paces in that direction. The flier is hiding up in the fork of a nice eucalyptus tree in front of you.

Box 2

Go back to that landmark, butterfly tree. At a heading of the square of the traffic sign number plus 30 degrees, take the traffic sign number plus 2 single paces. The crafty flier is hiding in the roots of a recumbent tree there.

Happy Hunting!
