Box replaced as of today.
New stamp, new location = New Find for you!

Background:
The PWC is an award winning educational facility dedicated to conserving and protecting the natural resources of the Perkiomen Watershed. Numerous events are held there throughout the year to promote conservation awareness. There are summer camps available for children as well as adult education programs.

Directions:
1 Skippack Pike, Schwenksville, PA.
Located at the intersection of Rt 73 (Skippack Pike) and Rt 29, just south of the town of Schwenksville. You will actually need to go east on 73 a short distance to find the Watershed building. For another interesting site, check out Pennypacker Mills, just across Haldeman Rd.

Clues:
Park in the gravel lot. Walk away from the road to the far end of the parking area and continue on the wide grassy trail up the hill.
Follow the tree line straight back until you see a narrow trail heading downhill.

It’s pretty steep, so hold the little one’s hands.
Stay on the trail because off-trail is poison ivy!
Path my get muddy in spots.
Pass by a large moss-covered tree on your right.
Cross over a small boardwalk.
You may need to climb over and around a few fallen trees.
The trail will eventually take you to creekside.

Great geology here!
Check out that cliff across the stream.
Continune walking, upstream but keep a lookout for a large moss covered stump on the left.
Walk there and look in the base.

Please cover up carefully with bark or sticks.
Drop me a note, especially if the box is wet or needs attention.
