The city of Wyoming is located Southwest of Grand Rapids.

(This box was originally placed 9/23/03 and was temporarily removed in April due to the removal of many Ash trees in the park. This box is back in its original spot and no changes were made to the clues)

Directions
Linus C. Palmer Park is located in Wyoming, MI at 1275-52nd St. S.W. Follow the directions in the Dragon Fyre letterbox. After parking in the first parking area, walk up the short drive to the clearing with the ball diamond.

Note: Beware of poison ivy!! In the Spring, be mindfull of wildflowers. Park is closed from Oct. 31st to May 1st.

Clues
Play Ball!!!! It's the wind up, the pitch...a long fly ball hit into far, far left field! Oh no, it hit that huge oak standing all by itself! It rolled off the longest toe and down the trail 5 degrees West of South!
The ball rolled into the woods...and was never seen again! HOWEVER..
there is a post with a broken blue triangle...how 'bout you take that trail; the skier on the left shows the way.
Are you following the blue trail?
Trail bends sharply to the left
When you have the opportunity, trail at 30 degrees
Past the lover's tree, past the huge dead giant, and under the fallen one
See the braided roots?
Another blue arrow
Cross the wooden one, and follow the next arrow true to your color
Cross the asphalt "path"
Still on the blue trail?
Interesting sight: 5 trunks with very shaggy bark
Between the cut ones
As the stream goes...so should you
At the "T" go forth North
A two colored post on the right; skier on the left points the way
Did you check the Edge Effect?
2 two colored posts...take the one that changes a color
Two large stones in the trail, look West and see another
From the middle of the triangle, large, tall tree at 210 degrees
Proceed in that direction
Look for the Dragon's Lair under the West end of the fatter fallen tree
Back to the trail...140 degrees
At the "Y" go right
Follow the trail marked by red over blue
At the next "Y" 270 degrees
