This saint was often seen walking by the waters edge in Ireland picking reeds and weaving crosses. One day a chieftain asked her what she was doing and showed him the cross and explained her faith. His entire tribe was converted to Christianity.
Who is she?
Start at Pioneer Park on South Coddington and West Van Dorn. Pioneer Park Nature Center is on the southwestern edge of Lincoln. The Nature Center features four miles of walking trails through native Nebraska prairie grasses, woodlands and wetlands. A herd of bison, elk, white-tailed deer, red fox, wild turkey and owls are exhibited in their natural Nebraska habitat along the nature center trails. Open various hours during the week and over the year.
Enter the park and drive completely around the Bison. You will see two long rows of hemlocks. Walk 26 paces between the trees. On the left you will see a small opening low in the trees. Enter here. Up high in the hemlock you will find the box bungeed corded.
