Since we have never received a response, we are going to turn this into a traveler. After some Fall gathering, we will transform this into a hitchhiker. It may find it's way into your hands. Good Luck
This box has been carved and is ready. We wanted to place it on 4/12/04, the day of the Easter Egg Roll, but the process to get it to where it was intended will take a while. It's intended location is the US National Parks information booth at the White House Visitor Center in the Commerce Building at the corner of 15th St NW and Pennsylvania Avenue.
In order to place it there I am submitting a letter to the US National Parks Service, who will make a recommendation and then forward to the White House for approval.
There is currently a different type of box, (of the geocaching type) located here. Check here for updates. I am told that this process could take 6 months so please be patient.
