TERRAIN:
Mostly flat. Paved and dirt.
CLUES (Easy):
The box is in Turner Park in Covington, GA. To get to Turner Park go south on Turner Lake Road from the I20/278 interchange. You’ll find the main entrance on the west side of Turner Lake Road.
Start from the trail system entrance near the playground. Take the left trail at the first intersection. Go south at the next intersection. Take the SECOND south going unpaved trail. At the circle go southeast down the steps to a bridge. Continue on the trail. From the end of the second bridge go 65 steps to an intersection. From the intersection spot a large tree OFFTRAIL about 25 steps at 270 degrees. The box is at the base of the tree under a rock and debris.
Please be discreet while looking for this box. Look out for poison ivy and be sure to check for ticks when done hunting.
