Trail difficulty: Moderate
Clues: easy
Length: to box: approx 1 mile. To summit 1.5 miles.
Directions: Find Miller State Park on route 101 in Peterborough. From the parking lot go right on route 101 for .03 miles. Take a right on East Mountain Road. Follow East Mountain Road 3.4 miles to the end. Turn right on Old Mountain Road (not marked). Follow Old Mountain Road for 1.4 miles to Wapack trailhead on right, park on left.
Clues: Start hiking Wapack Trail up North Pack Monadnock. After hiking approximately 20 minutes you will see a BIG cliff of rocks (you can't miss it). There will be a trail off to the left, don't even think you will get off that easy... don't take it. Follow Wapack Trail up and over cliff. Keep going until you see the cairn in front of a rock wall (it is on the trail and ** NOT the first one you come to**!). Stand at NE corner of cairn. With back at cairn face 30 degrees and walk 20 paces. Face 110 degrees and walk 12 paces. Peek under green skirt.
Note: Keep going!!..the hike to the top is totally worth it! For an incredible view take the Cliff Trail, it circles around back to the top.
