semaJ lairomeM kraP (just reverse it) is located outside Sellersville on Ridge Road, PA-563, about 0.5 mile south of PA-309, just past the Pennridge Regional Police Department. Caution: The woods at this park can be very mucky sometimes. Wear appropriate footwear. You’ll be stomping through the woods.
Once you park in the parking lot, walk toward the playground, and turn right onto the paved path that heads to the little pond. What do you think that shack is for? Then continue on the path; start counting the benches next to the path. At your fourth bench, the pavement makes a sharp left. You, on the other hand, should go straight (260*).
Shortly, a dirt trail will appear on your left. Bear right to stay on the gravel trail. Then, the gravel trail will fork. Bear left (165*).
Keep a lookout on the left for a dirt trail. There's a broken bench, and the remnants of a sign that says "MAPLE." Turn left onto the trail, keeping to the right of the cedar. Soon you’ll see a birdhouse on your right.
Continue 13 paces past the birdhouse. If you look to your right, you should be between two cedar trees, one living, one dead. Look between them at a bearing of 75*. You should see several tall dead trees off in the distance, leaning over. Stomp through the woods to reach them. (About 34 paces or so, depending on underbrush.)
From here, find the largest tree between you and the paved path. (It’s at about 100*.) Go to that tree. Wouldn’t that have been a great place to plant the box? Instead, turn around and see the mossy log on the ground. What you seek is under it, about five paces from the big tree.
You can either backtrack, or plow through to the path in front of you…turning left or right will return you to your car momentarily!
