Distance to Letterbox: 6 miles RT from Inlet (use boat).
Place along hike to either Alpine or Cramer Lakes. Use boat service to get to Redfish Inlet.
Directions:
From Stanley, go south on Hwy 75 for about 4 miles, then turn right on road to Redfish Lodge. Follow signs all the way to lodge. Park near lodge.
To the Letterbox
Get to Boat pier, and pay for round trip to Redfish Inlet (plan your day so you can finish hike at return times (3, 5 or 7pm). Take boat to Inlet, then follow signs for Trial. At kiosk, complete permit, then begin hike to Alpine/Cramer Lakes. After 3 miles you will hit junction for Alice Lake, which will be signed. From sign, continue on Cramer Lakes trail for 15 steps. Go right to boulder and tree behind it, 5 yards. Box is on left side of boulder by tree under 6 inch rock.
