Camp Berlin - (1861) A CSA training camp for local German settlers. Site located about ten miles from town. Nothing remains. Box placed at Clear Spring Cemetery (can not enter, so outside of Cemetery) which is near the area of the original Camp.
Directions:
From Brenham, go North on Hwy 36 past Hwy 290 cutoff and turn right on N. Park St. Soon, turn right on Lounge St. Go under Hwy 36 and on for a few miles. Cemetery entry is on the right. Turn in at gate and park there.
To the Letterbox:
From the gate, walk right along outside of fence to Juniper tree. Box is at base on this side.
