This box is placed near a cafe in West Seattle. .... Ah, but which one?

The cafe is named after an amusement park that operated on Alki Point from 1907 - 1913. The park closed down (in part due to Prohibitionist politics) when West Seattle was annexed into greater Seattle. This amusement park was built on a pier out over the water, and during extreme low tides, the pilings can still be seen from time to time today.

The cafe itself has some of the best milkshakes in the city. It is located in a very industrial zone near labrynthine arches of freeway and across the street from a steel factory. Once you get there, park in the parking lot of the cafe. Walk uphill for a short ways, until you reach the crosswalk -- this is an exceptionally busy street, so be careful.

Cross the road and look at the billowing steam from the factory. Turn left and walk a quarter block downhill until you reach the green sign giving directions for a major thoroughfare.

The box is hidden right next to the post of the sign, concealed from view by some bushes.

Be sure to try a milkshake at the cafe on your way out!
