The box was checked on 6/30/2009. It was being used and was in good condition.
From Cottage Grove drive on the Row River Road on the North side of Dorena Lake to Harmes Park. Park your vehicle and enjoy the view of the lake. There are nice picnic areas with bar-b-q grills and a clean restroom--but no water.
Walk the trail Southeast going up the lake for about fifteen minutes until you find mile post 9.0. Walk 30-40 paces more and look in the crotch of the large double cedar tree.
Around the curve there is a landscaped area with a picnic table and a grand view.
We have found much to enjoy in this area and we hope you are able to do the same.
