Eddyline Brewery is one of Colorado’s premier mountain-town craft breweries, opening in Buena Vista in 2009. The taproom features twelve Eddyline beers, including tasting room only specialties, and a delicious menu of upscale pub food and wood fired pizzas. So give it a try before finding this box at Collegiate Peaks Scenic Overlook, with restrooms and picnic tables in addition to a great view.
Directions:
For the brewery, go to 102 Linderman Ave. For the box, go south on US 24, left on US 285/24 about 1.5 mile, left on CR 304 (dirt) about 0.2 mile then left at fork to picnic area at overlook and park at first spot.
Clues:
Walk right to sign for Overlook Trails sign and go on trail a short way to jct with Fistful of Dollars Trail. Continue down off trail behind trail sign 20 steps to multi-trunk pine tree. LB is at left base under rocks & needles.
