1/9/07 This box has been dried out and restored. It is now in a smaller container and awaiting visitors again. 8-)
***NOTE: I have had a report that the log book for this box is waterlogged. I will replace it as soon as possible.***
We've placed the third and final box in our I-395 series. We certainly hope that you enjoy them and that they come as a welcome break in your travels. All three of the stamps have been carved by our son/brother. He does an excellent job.
Directions:
When heading North on I-395, go past exit 89 and pull into the Mobil station rest area in Plainfield. Drive past the pumps and park in the South corner of the parking lot.
Clues:
At the end of the sidewalk go up a small hill @ 140 degrees for 24 paces to a Cedar tree. From this tree walk along the treeline in a counter clockwise direction until you see a large rock on your right next to a tree with 5 trunks. Between this tree and the rock, on the backside, is your prize. It is underneath some rocks and leaves. Please rehide well.
We hope that we've made your journeys a little more enjoyable.
