Middleton Brewing was founded in the summer of 2011 by Kim and Dennis Middleton, who wanted to open a brewpub where people could enjoy a wide array of quality brews while enjoying all the natural grandeur of the Hill Country. With 17 taps, an array of wines and locally made cider, and food trucks and seating outside, it appears they have been successful. So come try a flight, then find this box at Sessom Creek Natural Area.

Directions:
To get to the Brewery, from I 35 go northwest on RR 12 for 9.5 miles, then right on Oakwood Loop and immediate left into Middleton Brewing. To get to the letterbox, from Old RR 12 go northeast on W. Holland St for 0.7 mile, right on Chestnut St for 0.4 mile, then right into lot for Summermoon Coffee and park in spaces for Sessom Creek Park.

Clues:
Walk back out of lot and go left on sidewalk for 50 steps to trail sign on left saying "Bamboo Chute". Follow trail with white markers on trees down to creek and cross over. From other side, continue 50 steps to tree on right with round metal marker #69. Go left off trail 14 steps up to small tree leaning forward, and continue 8 steps to three trees at its end. LB is between these trees under rocks.

Hike length: 0.5 miles
