Bass River State Forest, Stage Road, Bass River Township, Burlington County NJ
Easy walk approx.1.5 miles, round trip.
-Enter Park at the main entrance on Stage Road.
-Head toward the lake, make your second right and park in that lot.
-While facing the lake enter the trail to your left.
-Follow the trail, crossing over the roadway.
-Continue on the trail, past the BORN OF FIRE sign.
-At the "Y" in the trai, head 180 degrees over a wooden footbridge.
-Continue on the trail to the BIOLOGICAL TIMELINE sign.
-At this sign,head 240 degrees, go approx. 32 paces to the large pine tree.
-At the large pine, head 320 degrees,approx. 20 paces toward the dead oak tree.
-When at the oak tree, turn around and the box is hidden right there.
