Box is in BSP and located at Sandy stream pond. Great short hike to see mountains reflected in lake, with moose to view on banks! FEE
Directions:
Enter BSP. Go right after entry booth and drive to end and parking for Roaring Brook Parking area.
To the Letterbox:
Go to hiking trail signs and take Sandy Stream pond trail. Hike to pond. You will reach wet area first, then wood plank cut off to right (leads to first views of lake and worth going to). For box, continue straight until sign for "Big Rocks Viewpoint". Stop. Go right and back off trail for 8 steps to 2 firs trees with elevated roots. The left one is dead. Box is in the roots of the right one, hidden by small rocks. PS - go to viewpoint to the left also, as views of lake and mountain are better. We saw to moose from here.
