The Kauai Beer Company is a neighborhood microbrewery producing high-quality craft beer since 2013. The creative food menu rivals the brew and is worth trying even if you don't like beer, but I suggest trying some samples like Black Limousine and Lihue Lager. You can then walk it off while finding this box on the Kuilau Ridge Trail.
Directions:
From Kuhio Hwy (HI 56) go northwest on Kuamoo Rd (HI 580) for about 6.5 miles to small parking area for the Kuilau Ridge Trail just before the forested park area of Keahua Arboretum. If parking is full drive a bit further across one-lane bridge to bigger lot.
Clues:
Walk on trail up to covered picnic tables and with them on your left continue past them 28 steps along ridge, then right 22 steps on faint path to view of different valley. Go right 10 steps to multi-trunk tree with LB in crotch of trunks 3' high. Please be discreet and replace as described.
