You will find this letterbox along the Big Cottonwood creek trail that goes through the Old Mill Park. From Fort Union., turn onto Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. (This is by the Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride Overflow lot.) You will stay on this road for about 1 mile. You will pass the Old mill ruins on your right. There is a parking lot for the Old Mill Park on the left. After parking, walk to the Big Cottonwood creek trail that runs in front of the covered bridge. Start walking southeast along this trail. You will pass a sign pointing out where a tithing house used to be. Keep following the trail. You will go past a ¾ mile rock on your left. Keep going until you come to the Ern and Molly Green Cabin sign on the right side of the trail. Here you will need to walk towards the creek (about 6 ft) until you come to a large fallen branch/tree. Under this large branch you will find a light colored rock along with other larger rocks. The letterbox is under the light-colored rock.
