Letterbox @ Hiwan Homestead location
4208 Timbervale Drive
Evergreen, CO 80439

Start at the cowboy / calf statue (next to the entrance to the Hiwan Museum)
TURN RIGHT and go toward the Victorian Garden
Walk to the RIGHT along the garden until you get to the huge Blue Spruce tree.
TURN LEFT and continue to walk down the pebbled cement path toward lamppost.
Go past lamppost and bench – At bench and (3) large Ponderosa Pine trees, STAY ON RIGHT SIDE OF PATH
Walk straight down path toward the Bear Creek Mercantile
At Mercantile, TURN LEFT and climb (1) step up.
Walk left slightly, then straight, so that you are between the 2 wood buildings (following the telephone / power lines overhead).
Eric’s House will be on your right.
TURN RIGHT after “Eric’s house” sign onto the smaller flagstone path.
At house, TURN LEFT and stay on path along house (keep heading to the LEFT)
Pass large Ponderosa Pine trees & keep walking
Stop at corner of Eric’s House @ red downspout
TURN RIGHT into grass & walk along back along house rear foundation wall – keep walking until you see the fan heating units & a small space that is near more heating units and a chimney of the house
TURN RIGHT to go “into” that small space – lookup to see chimney
The letterbox rests at the base of that chimney, above the door to the crawl space basement of the house.
