Hooray for Girl Scouts!
Start at the bell tower at
King of Glory Lutheran Church
That’s where we meet to get to work!
Admire the Green Mermaid
but here you will not stay
It’s shopping you’ll go
and it begins with a “K”.
Walk along the sidewalk
Keep “Chase” ing the ‘King’.
Focus on a ‘Goodyear’,
To the left, you’ll want to veer!
Walk along the pavement slant,
Hey look! You can pass your trash
at the recycling plant.
Left seems to be the direction to go,
You might see a dentist, no need to open your mouth,
You are traveling not North, not East and not South.
Look down the street
to the left and to the right,
Homes are stacked in plain sight.
At the Parkway, turn left again.
A bench to rest and catch your breath.
Do you see in the concrete,
prints of a Man’s best friend?
Soon you will come to an electric box,
Look around!
Be as stealthy as a Fox!
The treasure is in a hole yet, not in the ground
but a hole can be found in something Brown!
Shout “Hooray” and sign our book.
We can’t wait to see how
Your stamp will look!
Hike length: 1 mile
