CHIEF PONTIAC’S CACHE
Park in the lot and follow the main trail to the concrete chalet;
Visit Pascal and be inspired;
Turn 135 degrees and exit to the proverbial fork;
Head into the woods on the trail guarded by the 8 sentinels;
Follow to the sea and the wooden ship’s prow;
Enjoy the view!
Continue on to the field stone map;
Where are you? “You are here;”
Turn 180 and follow the path;
Walk the plank (two) ;
Up the King’s Staircase and cross the bridge;
20 paces to the wooden arrowhead;
Behind to the right, if you have been bright!
Continue on up the Queen’s Staircase and back to the parking lot.
Hike length: 1 mile
